HISTORY & PURPOSE

When I became a Christian 20 years ago, I stopped dieting. For the first time I felt loved, and I knew I was accepted for who I was, no matter my weight. While that is very much true, I didn't realize at the time that we're not only called to give him our spirit to be made alive, and submit our soul to Him and His leadership, but our body is as much in the equation. We are called to honor Him with our body as well, and our body is His as much as our spirit and soul. Our bodies need to be ruled by His Holy Spirit rather than our soul which is often the case. We are the temple of Holy Spirit and have a responsibility to take good care of it.

It took me many years to figure that out. In 2007 I started on my weight loss & health journey, having reached my maximum of close to 100 kilos (220 pounds). Over the years the pounds dropped (and sometimes came back on), and my diet changed more and more. Today sometimes it still amazes me when I realize that I cannot put certain food into my mouth any more that I used to love.

I've always loved sports - running ski races in my early teen years, and then doing dancing of all kinds (rock'n'roll acrobatics, ballroom, tap dance, performing). I've also always loved working out, and in 2012 I felt God leading me to become a certified fitness trainer & health coach to add this important aspect of bringing healing on all levels to the nations.

However, from my own journey it was very obvious that working out alone is not enough most of the time to lead to weight loss that can be maintained. We need to pull out the roots of what led to the weight gain in the first place. Once those strongholds are gone, it suddenly becomes so much easier to eat and live right, honoring God free from baggage from the past.

That is why in my opinion fitness training & inner healing need to go hand in hand when we want to lose weight and regain our health. And further below I'm going to tell you about an exciting third aspect.

FITNESS TRAINING

Because of my own weight loss & health journey, and the many hours of inner healing I have received, my passion is to see other Christians conquer that seemingly unsurmountable mountain to becoming healthy and honoring God with their bodies.

This is what I offer:

Assessment, training plan tailored to you, and one hour fitness session.
Cost: 80€ ($110)

Every time I pass through your town, I'll check up on your progress and adapt your training program.
Cost: 50€ ($70)

INNER HEALING

If you know there are things from your past holding you back, you can schedule an inner healing session with me. I've learned approaches by the Elijah House, Theophostic Prayer Ministry and the Immanuel Approach, and received about 150 hours of the latter two myself.

ESSENTIAL OILS

Have you ever wondered how the Israelites marched through the desert all those years, and the Bible tells us there was not one sick among them? How did they live for so long in ancient Biblical times?

Part of the answer may lie in their knowledge of the healing properties of oils extracted from plants. Today the pharmaceutical industry has replaced that knowledge, and we've let New Agers steal the monopoly on natural remedies and scare us Christians away from anything natural. It's time we take back what God has given to us! Pure, essential oils have amazing healing properties without harming our bodies in any way. The more I learn, the more I'm intrigued and fascinated and amazed by our God.

That is why I'm using essential oils myself and treat my children with them, with amazing results no medication could have. It's also why I've gone through training to be more effective in applying the oils.

If you'd like to come to an evening at my house where I introduce a number of Biblical oils, telling you more about them in their Biblical contexts and what benefits they bring, as well as trying them all out, you're very welcome to come.
